Getting To Preveza
From Athens:
You can take a short flight to the Preveza airport (PVK) or the Ioannina airport (IOA).
We suggest flying into Ioannina Airport . . . although it is farther away than Preveza (about a 40 minute drive), there are 3 flights arriving daily.
Be sure to let us know in advance when you are arriving and departing at either airport and we'll arrange transportation to the hotel.
If you are feeling adventurous you can take a bus from the main bus terminal (KTEL) in the center of Athens to and from Preveza, the schedule varies but there is usually at least one trip a day. The drive is about 5 hours long, but it will be a nice way to sit back and view the Greek countryside!
Private taxi service is also available from the Athens airport, it costs about 50 or 60 euro a person and it's a 4 or 5 hour drive. Let us know if you're interested in this option....but warning - the taxi driver does not speak english!
